This freeware Windows utility is designed as a graphical interface to the excellent PDFTK utility. The purpose of this program is to recover as much as possible data of damaged, bad burned or scratched data disks on CDs or DVDs. ShellCrypt will Encrypt the file and replace its filename with a generic designation. ShellCrypt uses the Blowfish algorithm to encrypt files; filename hiding is optional.
